Boat Themed Toy Chest

Enhance your child's play time and imagination with this fun handcrafted boat themed toy chest. With a movable ship's wheel, their imagination can take them to any waterway and adventure. With an open hull, they can access their treasure through the deck lid or the bench seat. The deck lid lifts off, while the bench seat is attached by piano hinge and had a soft closer attached to help prevent pinched fingers from the seat. There is also a rear compartment for smaller treasure with a lid attached by piano hinge.

Both sides of the toy chest are planked and painted in semi-gloss white. The rear transom is painted birch plywood. Trims are poplar and along with the birch plywood deck lid and bench seat, are stained with Red Mahogany and protected with four coats of satin urethane.

These Toy Chests are built when ordered, so finishes can be changed. If you would like a different color paint or stain, let us know.
